My standard session is 50 minutes.
75-90 minute sessions are available as needed. -
I strongly encourage weekly sessions for the first 4 sessions, so we can get to know each other and begin to make progress. From there, we can discuss shifting to a frequency that fits for you.
Each person or couple has different needs, schedules, and financial circumstances. We can always adjust session frequency based for what works best. -
I offer both! I have a super cozy office in Overland Park, Kansas where I see clients in-person. If virtual works best, that is always an option.
Please note: You must be located in the state of Kansas for virtual sessions. -
I ask for any sessions to be cancelled with 24 hours notice. Sessions that are cancelled in less than 24 hours, the session fee will be applied.

I do not currently accept insurance and am considered an Out-Of-Network with any insurance provider. I am able to provide you with a monthly Super Bill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
I accept HSA/FSA cards for payment and am happy to discuss a reduced fee or sliding-scale rate on a case-by-case basis. -
Individual Sessions | $130 per 50 minute session
Couple Sessions | $150 per 50 minute sessions
I hold a certain number of reduced rate or sliding-scale fee spots on my calendar in an effort to make therapy more accessible.
If finances are a preventative factor, please reach out. I am happy to discuss the options. -
While each person is a little different, I do have a typical agenda for our first session or two.
We will begin with reviewing the pre-session paperwork and see if you have any questions.
From there, I like to hear about what brings you to therapy at this very moment in time. We will spend a little time getting to know what present-day life looks like.
Between the first + second session, we will talk a bit about your history, your family, your hobbies, your strengths, your likes and dislikes. Finally, we will talk about your goals for our work together and collaborate on a path forward. -
Most often, my clients share that they feel very safe and comfortable working with me. Above all else, your sense of comfort and ease is my biggest priority. It’s super vulnerable to unload your mind to another person - let alone a stranger! I get that.
At my core, I am super silly and playful. Therapy is a place to talk about the big, the heavy, and the hard, and it is also a place to rediscover and reignite your sense of play, your sense of wonder, and awe. I am with you every step of the way through the hard stuff, and we may end up sharing some giggles.
Being a therapist is truly a gift and the honor of my lifetime. I hold your humanity with tenderness, care, and reverence. I work very hard to continuously sharpen my skills, reflect on my work, and deepen my knowledge, so I can be the very best therapist I can be.
